Find a picture of a redhead whose color you like. That way you and your stylist will be on the same page. Then she can show you swatches and let you know how realistic that red is for your hair.

I'd ask for an auburn shade... but again, make sure you either have a pic or look at swatches. or preferably, both :)

Yes go for it. i like red hair, but i'm just too dark for it. If it is too bright you'll look ridiculous, because only a few people can wear a bright red shade.
