Whenever i put my daughters hair up she gets these little red bumps????

Then sometimes she gets pus in them?? What is this? I keep her very clean and tell her not to scratch and then i take down the ponytail and put fungus cream on them and they go away..but they always come back in small patches. What is the name for this? Can you suggest a special shampoo or a cream or even name exactly what this is called?? Thanks!

maybe you're putting it up too tight, because the same happened to me when i got corn rows plaited into my hair. the girl that did it put them really tight so they would stay in, but they pulled my skin around my hairline and irritated the skin. try putting it up a little looser maybe?

It may be too tight for her head or you may have to use a different type of ponytail holder. Rubberbands will pull her hair for sure.

somtimes this happens to me when i get my hair done it can happen just simply from pulling to tight and if you leave her hair like that it can become irritated

please be so carefull! My little sister use to have the from her ponytail and she has hair loss around her edges! Be careful alternate styles and dont pull on the hair to much!! Also search high and low for a great shampoo called NIOXIN it works GREAT!!! good luck

You're pulling her hair too tight. If you don't then she probably has very tender scalp, so you have to pull it less than you normally do.

The only thing to stop this is.. STOP putting it up. My daughter gets them too its from the stress of pulling on the hair, your putting it tight enough to stress the hair but not tight enough to just pull it out... But if you keep doing this her hair will break off and be short if not Missing around the edges of her hair line.

My daughter can only wear ponytails for one week a month... All the other time she needs to have it in braids or just down.... She hates when she gets the bumps because her mom(me) is crazy and always tries to pop them to get the pus out... I hate seeing a white or red bump on her...

No cream can prevent this. We have tried Tons of stuff, grease, oils, different rubberbands.... Just let her scalp rest more and dont put the balls/hairties... so tight.. good luck

You are putting her hair up to tight and it's pulling her hair follicles and irritating them.
