ok i want to know a website that can give me a percentage rate or a worksheet of somesort to determine my unborn sons hair color. I have blonde hair, and my husband has medium brown hair, but his daughter from a previous relationship has red hair. We want to know our chances of this baby having red hair as well, by doing something like a family tree of hair colors or something. we just want a percentage and thought it would be nice for the baby book. we realize its not a 100% science, but cant find anything on the subject that fits what we need, everything tell us how hair gets its color, but doesnt say much about family tree and how it affects hair color. im horrible at searches and not having any luck, i will choose a best answer if i find the info i need! i will also give thumbs up for any answers that are remotely close to what i need.

If you find the site i would love to check it out too. I am naturally a blonde. My mom and dad both had dark brown hair. My grandparents on both sides have dark brown hair. My exhusband has dark brown hair. My 1st son was born with bright red hair that has now turned blonde and my 2nd son has dish water blonde colored hair with red highlights. That red seems to slip in sometimes.

There is no such thing. Most babies are born with one color and it changes rapidly to something different. I was born with red hair, it turned dirty blond when I was a toddler and by the time I was 12 it was bleach blond. As my teen years progressed it started getting darker and darker. I now have natural dark brown hair, almost black. My mom has red hair and my dad has black.

sweetie there is really no sure way, I tried with family tree with both of mine, I tried for hair and eyes; I took mine, my husbands, his parents and mine and our brothers and sisters.I came up with on my daughter that she would have green eyes like me and black hair like both our dads, well when she was born she had coalblack hair and blue eyes her eyes stayed blue but her hair turned blonde then brown. my son was also born with black hair and blue eyes, his hair turned brown and his eyes turned green like mine. go figure.

its really difficult to find it out. my mum had six children to my dad, (1) brown hair blue eyes, (2) red hair, green eyes, (3) blonde hair brown eyes, (4, 5, 6) brown and brown. there is red hair on my dads side but my brother was the only one with it out of over 30 people in the family. i think im 5 weeks and we've already been stressing about it. there is always the possibilty but in my opinion brown usually wins. what was his previous partners hair colour? more chance of brownish/auburn hair than red as far as i know. read the link about a family of red heads and it shows how unlikely it is.

there is really nothing that can determine unborn hair colour my husband and I both have brown hair I have blue eyes husband has dark brown, my firstborn had dark hair almost black and a greyish colour eyes my second was really blonde with brown eyes and my third has reddish blonde hair with green eyes all three are totally different in hair colour and eye colour and where some of the colours came from I have no idea as no one in the immediate family has some of these colours that I know of.

i, myself, was born with dark hair, but once i turned a year or so, i was a pure blonde, but then as i grew older, my hair kept getting darker %26amp; darker. not only does it depend on the genes in the family, but also the sunlight too. the sun makes your hair somewhat lighter. not sure if that's true, but that's what i was told.
