you need to get a red filler, then put the new color over......sounds like your hair was blond before you went red. you can get fillers at sally beauty or have your stylist use one. they are easy to use and work very well. good luck.

you can dye your hair a dark color to hide the mistake and if you want to make it lighter jus bleach it and do wateva u want with it

I bet your blond, right? Blond pigment does not hold red, that's just a fact. I would look to a darker color with red base, that way your not relying on the red base to color your hair. When in doubt, pay a professional. Good luck.
