Hes a Golden Lab dog..i didnt know if all labs were like this or not? It kinda looks like sunburn or something..like really raw..

well i have a lab too.. and she has one of thoes things too.. it's all red and the hair is missing but it's on her chin, the doctor said it was a scrap.. like a scap kind of thing..

might wanna get it checked out just in case though.

he might have a skin problem. if he has been in the sun alot his skin might not be used to it and the skin around the nose and face is very sensetive.

Do you crate your dog? If you do, it could be what I have heard called crate nose. They rub on the wire trying to get the door to open. My dachshund gets a spot right on top on his nose before the hair of his face starts. Hope that helps.

if its old old dogs get moldey and gross sores

Could it be where flies have bothered him?

Use a fly repellent and some neosporin or triple antibiotic

Or a ringworm?

Use fungicide like minoxidil

A sunburn?

use some sunburn relief

Maybe a sunburn. Or maybe something like mange. Call your local vet and see if he knows what it is or make an appt.
