Help! I have dark brown hair that i dye about every 2 months because it gets a little brassy red fro

I just dyed it though with a new brand and the top centimeter of my roots got a little lighter and orangey but the rest of my hair is fine. Does anyone know why this happened and wat i can do to fix it? Please!

you probably used a lighter color than the one you used before. because color can't make the existing color lighter so it seems it only worked on your regrowth. you probably have to recolor with a darker color or,, go to the salon to fix it,, and in the future, stick to the same level of color.

Your undyed hair took the color a little differently, which could be from the new brand. It could be that your hair is a little dryer than usual or that the brand was stronger than what you normally use. You could fix it with Fanciful Rinse which is a temporary rinse. You just comb it through your damp hair after shampooing and let it stay in. It doesn't hurt your hair at all. It is pretty inexpensive and comes in a wide range of shades. You can find it at Walmart or larger drugstores. Hope this was a help.
