How do I get rid of Red Henna that I have put on my hair, It is way to beasst red?

Sadly, you've learned a hard lesson. It is a strong permanent dye that won't take kindly to "fixing". The only short term fix is to get a temporary hair rinse and use it to tone down the brassiness. It's going to take a couple of months til the henna settles down. Then you can have a professional hairstylist strip it down and go over the hair with a new color. The red in that dye is so strong that it overpowers the hair shaft and makes it difficult for a new color to replace it.

nothing takes henna out of hair. cut it off or accept it.

well, if it is really brassy, maybe you could try a medium red brown to tone it down and get rid of the oranginess. However, if you can't afford to have it fixed at a salon, I suggest this. Do not dump a bottle of anything, anyone in here tell you to on your head. First, cut a small inch or so lock of hair from the hair at the nape of your neck, the part that no one sees. Attach duck tape to one end of the lock of hair, so that it looks like the tip of a paint brush. What ever dyes or stripper or anything that goes on your head, do it first to this lock of your hair as an experiament. Dye it, wash it, dry it, and look at it really good, because if you dump the rest of that chemical on your head...this is what you may have ended up looking like. If the results are what you are after, go for it. If not, at least you only ruined one lock, and not the whole head of hair.

unfortunately you CAN'T dye over henna, what you're going to have to do is deal with it untill it fades a lot. I'd say in about 2 months you should be able to finally dye over it. I suggest getting it professionally colored the first time so you know your results should come out possitive. Letting a professional do it would also be better because she'll know what colors to put on it %26amp; even if it's ready to be dyed over.

hang in there %26amp; good luck!!

hi, i have had plenty of bad color jobs, but i use a dandreff shampoo and it dulls the color without damaging my hair. head -n- shoulders works the best.
